Sometimes it is nice to take a familiar scripture and just think about it.

“The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (Isa 7:14, Matt 1:22-23).

The girl is Mary, the son is Jesus, therefore Jesus is Immanuel.

Immanuel means, “God with us.”

Simply,

Jesus is with us.

Look for these things and you will find him:

Love = Jesus

Faith = Jesus

Hope = Jesus

Peace = Jesus

Forgiveness = Jesus

Salvation = Jesus

Mercy = Jesus

Grace = Jesus

Freedom = Jesus

Equality = Jesus

Today, right now, Jesus is still with us

“For unto us a child is born, and he will be called, wonderful counselor, mighty God, everlasting Father, Prince of peace’ (Isa 9:6)
